BioQUEST has a 35-year history of educational innovation emphasizing effective uses of inquiry, 课程开发的技术与参与式模式. Prescott's involvement with the BioQUEST community began while she was still a graduate student, when she participated in a faculty development workshop the organization hosted. She has been involved with BioQUEST ever since, moving more recently into a volunteer staff role. She has helped to plan the organization's summer workshop and BIOME institutes and has served as a mentor in multiple faculty mentoring networks. Prescott says she looks forward to help lead BioQUEST into the future in her new role.
"I am very excited to be expanding my role in this organization that has provided such support to me over the years,普雷斯科特说. "I hope to provide stability and leadership as we continue to help faculty all over the world grow as educators and as we look ahead to a number of new and exciting projects."
